SUPPLEMENTARY DRAWING RULES

 

These Supplementary Drawing Rules are incorporated into and made part of the Official Rules for the Hubbard Youth Coalition (HYC) College, Car, or Cash Raffle. Participation in the raffle constitutes acceptance of these rules.

1. Supplementary Prize Drawings

​

​In addition to the Grand Prize Drawing, HYC may conduct one or more Supplementary Prize Drawings during the raffle period.

​

Supplementary prizes may include, but are not limited to, event tickets, gift certificates or gift cards, merchandise, experiences, services, recreational packages, or other prizes donated to or obtained by HYC.

​

The number, description, value, and order of Supplementary Prizes may be announced by HYC prior to or during the raffle period.

​2. No Additional Purchase Required

​

​A College, Car, or Cash Raffle ticket that is eligible for a Supplementary Drawing will automatically be entered into that Supplementary Drawing.

 

No separate ticket purchase or additional payment is required to participate in a Supplementary Drawing.

3. Online Ticket Purchase Deadline

​

To be eligible for Supplementary Drawings, online ticket purchases must be completed no later than one (1) calendar day prior to the applicable Supplementary Drawing date, at the deadline established and published by HYC.

​

An online purchase will be considered complete only after payment has been successfully processed and HYC has issued or assigned the corresponding raffle ticket number.

 

Online purchases received or processed after the applicable deadline will not be eligible for Supplementary Drawings conducted before the ticket becomes eligible, but the ticket will remain eligible for subsequent drawings, including the Grand Prize Drawing, subject to the Official Rules.

4. In-Person Ticket Purchases

​

To qualify for the Supplementary Drawings conducted that day, raffle tickets must be purchased in person on the day of the Supplementary Drawings at the drawing location, subject to ticket availability.

 

The purchase must be completed and the purchaser’s corresponding ticket stub must be placed into the official raffle drawing receptacle before HYC closes ticket sales for the applicable Supplementary Drawing.

 

HYC may announce a specific cutoff time for in-person purchases prior to each Supplementary Drawing.

5. Eligibility for Supplementary Drawings

​

Only raffle tickets that have been fully purchased, paid for, properly issued, and entered into the official drawing receptacle before the applicable Supplementary Drawing begins will be eligible for that drawing.

 

Tickets purchased or processed after a Supplementary Drawing has begun will not be retroactively eligible for prizes already drawn.

 

Such tickets may remain eligible for subsequent Supplementary Drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing, provided all other requirements of the Official Rules are satisfied.

6. Drawing Procedure

​

Each Supplementary Prize winner will be selected by randomly drawing an eligible ticket stub or detachable ticket section from the official raffle receptacle.

 

The ticket number drawn will be announced and recorded by HYC.

 

HYC may verify the corresponding ticket information before officially confirming the winner.

7. Winning Supplementary Tickets Remain Eligible

​

Winning a Supplementary Prize does not remove the winning ticket from the College, Car, or Cash Raffle.

 

After a Supplementary Prize winner has been identified and the winning ticket number has been recorded, the winning ticket stub will be returned to the official raffle receptacle before the next drawing.

 

Accordingly, a ticket that wins a Supplementary Prize:

• Remains eligible to win additional Supplementary Prizes;

• May win more than one Supplementary Prize;

• Remains eligible for all subsequent Supplementary Drawings; and

• Remains fully eligible for the College, Car, or Cash Grand Prize Drawing.

 

Winning a Supplementary Prize does not reduce, restrict, or otherwise affect the ticket holder’s eligibility for the Grand Prize.

8. Multiple Supplementary Prizes

​

Because each winning ticket is returned to the drawing receptacle following a Supplementary Drawing, the same raffle ticket and purchaser may win more than one Supplementary Prize.

 

There is no limit on the number of Supplementary Prizes a single eligible ticket or purchaser may win unless HYC expressly announces otherwise before the applicable drawing.

9. Presence Not Required

​

Unless otherwise specifically announced by HYC for a particular prize, participants do not need to be present to win a Supplementary Prize.

 

HYC will make reasonable efforts to contact an absent winner using the contact information associated with the winning raffle ticket.

10. Supplementary Prize Acceptance

​

Supplementary Prizes are awarded as described and are subject to any restrictions, expiration dates, eligibility requirements, transfer restrictions, or other conditions imposed by the provider or donor of the prize.

 

Unless otherwise stated, Supplementary Prizes:

• Have no cash alternative;

• May not be exchanged through HYC for another prize;

• Are subject to availability and any restrictions established by the prize provider; and

• Are the responsibility of the winner to claim within the time period established by HYC.

11. Unclaimed Supplementary Prizes

​

A Supplementary Prize winner must claim the prize within thirty (30) days after notification unless HYC establishes a different claim period for a particular prize.

 

If a winner cannot be located, fails to respond, is determined to be ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within the required period, HYC reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to conduct another drawing for that Supplementary Prize.

 

Any subsequent drawing will be conducted from the eligible raffle tickets in accordance with these rules.

12. Grand Prize Eligibility

​

Participation in or winning a Supplementary Drawing does not constitute the Grand Prize Drawing and does not affect a ticket’s eligibility for the Grand Prize.

 

All eligible ticket stubs, including those previously selected as Supplementary Prize winners, will remain in or be returned to the official raffle receptacle for the Grand Prize Drawing.

13. Drawing Integrity

​

HYC will administer all Supplementary Drawings in a manner designed to provide a fair and random selection from all eligible ticket stubs in the official raffle receptacle.

 

The receptacle will be mixed or otherwise randomized before each drawing.

 

HYC will maintain appropriate records of Supplementary Drawings, including the winning ticket numbers and prizes awarded.

14. Taxes

​

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local tax liability associated with Supplementary Prizes.

 

HYC will comply with any applicable tax reporting or withholding requirements.

15. Relationship to Official Rules

​

These Supplementary Drawing Rules supplement the Official Rules of the Hubbard Youth Coalition College, Car, or Cash Raffle.

 

All eligibility requirements, ticket requirements, restrictions, prize(s) claim, pickup and shipping, tax provisions, dispute provisions, and other applicable terms contained in the Official Rules also apply to the Supplementary Drawings.

 

In the event of a conflict, the Official Rules will control.
